I bumped into an old friend today on the bus ride home and we caught up. at the cross roads we parted and my mind drifted into those primary school days where all the tuition kids would groupie down to starbucks after lessons and just talk over lattes. now, we have all moved on- to top schools, to various other tuitions. we know little about one another. change is a funny thing- we are never quite sure what we are becoming or even why. then one day we look at ourselves and wonder who we are and how we got that way. Dear celine:
I guess, as you get older, you realize what you want, what matters to you, and how you see life. You notice that people you thought would be there forever, just don't match up with your ideas. So you hold on to the beautiful memories, but find yourself slowly letting go.
